The Others segment offers biomedical materials and orthopedic equipment.
The company also offers medical devices, such as surgical microscopes, endoscope reprocessors, electrosurgical devices, and respiratory-endotherapy devices, as well as system integration and maintenance/services.
The company was formerly known as Olympus Optical Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Olympus Corporation in October 2003.
