The fund invests in about 2,150 stocks throughout the region, which makes up roughly a quarter of the non-U.S. equity marketplace. In addition to stock market risk, the fund is also subject to currency risk and may have a higher degree of country risk than other international funds, since it invests solely in stocks of countries located in the Pacific region, particularly Japan.
